Nearly the whole last week was so sunny, very unusual for November, especially in London. I've tried to get out somewhere and to take some nice pictures of sunny London to make my friends in Moscow and Bishkek envy. The whole week I was busy and couldn't manage that. The only day when I had some free time was Sunday. But when I woke up on Sunday, opened my window and looked out in my garden - what I saw! - nothing but grey fog everywhere and frozen grass beneath my feet. I was depressed.

Franky Cocozza. A cool rock-star or a hairy loser?
When I started reading the Metro newspaper in London, I noticed that the X-Factor is a beloved thing to be written about in the rubric "Guilty Pleasure". To my mind, all the X-Factors in the world and analogies of them are rubbish. Such TV programmes really annoy me, so I can hardly stand throwing something solid at my TV-box.
Alcohol kills. An indirect proof. Fact.
A shocking news I read on the Internet last week, and I'm still being impressed.
It was on 13 November, as I can remember, but not quite sure. In south Moscow at night a car at a high speed hit to death two young men, who were passing the road in a forbidden place. There was no need in ambulance, as the walkers died as soon as were hit.

The rest of the subway's disadvantages
So, as I said in the previous post, the Underground requires huge costs, but there are also several things I was disgusted by.
The first one - the most impressive one - is mice in the rail. When I was waiting for the train in the platform in the Central line, my eyes caught a small white thing moving across the railway, and it had a long tail. I don't know whether it was a rat or a mouse, but I thought I would barf on the spot. I don't like insects and rodents much, and seeing them in a public place makes it more disgusting. For 8 years I've lived in Moscow and have never seen rats or whatever it was in the subway.

Subway makes me spending. Spending all my money-yummy.
But thanks God I still have a piece of the Kyrgyz mentality, and, unlike Russians who mostly like everything and everyone in west-European countries, I hate the London Underground, hate it with all my heart, while Russians like the whole Underground just because of the modern trains. I agree, British trains are much better than Russian ones; they're fast, convenient, tidy and so on.
